PROTERRA® Systems' Tunnel Doors Provide Better Air Mixing
![]() |
The unique air movement helps to eliminate dead-air zones at the side- and end-walls typically found in curtain sidewall or double-door houses. The tunnel doors direct cold air upward, away from birds until it has mixed with house air which then swirls down and into the center of the house for outstanding air mixing.
ProTerra Systems’ Tunnel Doors are constructed of thick extruded foam insulation sandwiched between thick, pebbled fiberglass-reinforced plastic, providing greater rigidity and dent resistance. The durable construction along with the wall-mounted seal allows a tighter seal when door is closed. The new tunnel door insulates approximately eight times better than a curtain during winter, helping to provide energy savings for poultry producers.
